After one year of law at the Université de Montréal, Paul Ouellet decided to go into journalism. Today, he has over 35 years of experience in both private and public radio. In 2001, he took 13 months off to work as communications consultant to the chair of Comité de transition de la Ville de Québec. He was also in charge of producing the final report of this committee. Over the course of his career in private and public radio, he has served as field reporter, host of public affairs shows, news assignment journalist and press reviewer. Paul Ouellet has also worked as literary commentator on public and private radio.
In addition to his career as a journalist, he also teaches journalism at a private school in Quebec City and collaborates with RTCOMM on workshops and in communications and crisis management.
