After over thirty years among the elite of Québec sports reporters, Louis Hardy is known for his quality of his work, opinions and reporting, always centred on athletes, and for his pioneering efforts to promote sports at all levels, right up to the Olympics. After completing his studies at the Collège des annonceurs de la radio et de la télévision (CART), Louis Hardy began working in 1970 as a editor/newscaster for CKCV in Quebec City before transferring to CJRP and CKRT in Rivière-du-Loup to gain more experience. In 1976, he began working for Radio-Canada, and would continue there until his retirement in 2009. Louis Hardy built a solid reputation in the area of sports and outdoor activities as well as in public affairs, major radio reports and as program host of Les héros du samedi, Univers des sports, Adrénaline, Hebdo Sports and Aventure olympique. At ease with both live and taped programs, Louis Hardy is truly dedicated to his profession and to working with the media. It is this passion that he wishes to contribute on the RTCOMM team.
Sûreté du Québec called on Richard Thibault Communications Inc. to provide distance communication training to its 85 station managers. This service enabled us to train all managers within two weeks—a process that would otherwise have taken months—and all without requiring them to travel. RTCOMM’s services saved us time and money while helping us reach our training goal.
Lt. Richard Bourdon, Communications Advisor, Public Security Branch – Sûreté du Québec

The practical simulations of radio and TV interviews as well as media “scrum” with seasoned journalists followed by personalized feedback were the definite highlight of this top-quality course. It was professional, dynamic, expertly led, and fun.

RTCOMM has been of great help to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. Their consultants worked closely with Régie managers on major files, and they shared their expertise through training programs that were perfectly adapted to our needs. Doing business with RTCOMM has made us better communicators. What more could you ask for?
